%X In early 1920s, under the impact of the wave of Western culture, traditional Chinese music faced unprecedented difficulties. This article combines the development history and representative repertoire of Western operas repre- sented by Italy and Chinese national operas, and puts forward insights on the development trend of Chinese national operas and how to better develop Chinese national operas in stages.
