The sample of research consists of 150 students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, at which students take lessons about old age and elderly care, and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, at which students do not receive any special education for old age. The Personal Information Form and the Age Discrimination Attitude Scale were used to collect the data. The Age Discrimination Attitude Scale was used after taking a written permission from Vefikulu£¿ay. Data analyses are done through t-test and variance analysis. In addition, the information obtained from the Personal Information Form is presented through percentage and frequency rates. According to the findings of this study, female students¡¯ attitudes towards elderly people are more positive than male students. Faculty of Health Sciences students¡¯ attitudes towards elderly people are more positive than Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Also, results indicate that attitudes of students toward elderly adults are affected positively by having an elderly person in the family, living with an elderly person at home and having high frequency of encountering and getting touch with elderly.
