VGAMs present in different way from vein of Galen aneurysmal dilatations (VGADs). The VGAMS have a parenchymal arteriovenous malformation that drains through the vein of Galen whereas VGADs may present with intracranial hemorrhage. In neonates VGAMs result in high-output cardiac failure. Surgery offers little improvement, with fatal outcomes in 80% to 100% of cases. %K Vein of Galen Aneurysmal Malformation %K Vein of Galen Aneurysmal Dilatation %U http://www.oalib.com/paper/3144855
